Gus was born in Seattle, WA. He attended Seattle Academy on Capitol Hill and graduated from Colorado College with a BA in Political Science. After college, Gus lived in Aspen, CO, where he worked on the Programming team at the Aspen Institute supporting events and public programs.

For the past seven years, Gus has worked in real estate, beginning his career in property management before transitioning into development. He first worked as a Construction Coordinator at Blanton Turner, where he managed day-to-day operations for apartment rehabilitation projects in Seattle. During this time, he also enrolled in the University of Washington’s Commercial Real Estate Certificate Program, which deepened his interest in development. In February 2022, Gus accepted a position with evolution Projects, where he now works on the development team.

Gus currently lives in Columbia City with his wife Molly and loves spending his spare time skiing, mountain biking, and hanging out with his dog, Maize.
